ClimatePalooza 2014

Connecting scientists, scholars, policy makers, and the public to change the way we understand and discuss climate issues.

Larry Pryor is an associate professor at the USC/Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. He has worked as a reporter, writer, editor and photographer, first at the Louisville Courier-Journal and later at the Los Angeles Times. At the Times he covered the environment and later became an assistant metropolitan editor with responsibility for topics involving science, medicine, urban affairs and the environment. He left journalism to work with Gov. Jerry Brown as press secretary in a presidential campaign and published a novel. He moved to USC in 1997 as director of the Online Journalism program at the Annenberg School and now teaches environmental journalism. He and Stephen O’Leary at the Communications School are working on a book on climate change communication. Watch an interview with Larry about ClimatePalooza here.
