Connecting scientists, scholars, policy makers, and the public to change the way we understand and discuss climate issues.


Annenberg East Lobby

Representatives from the following organizations will be on hand to talk about climate change, communication, and how both relate to their respective organizations with give-a-ways!

California Fuel Cell Partnership

The California Fuel Cell Partnership is a collaboration of organizations, including auto manufacturers, energy providers, government agencies and fuel cell technology companies, that work together to promote the commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Keith Malone will display a Toyota FCHV-adv and talk about zero-emission vehicles and their contributions to reducing climate-changing greenhouse gases.

Heal the Bay

Heal the Bay is an environmental nonprofit organization based in Santa Monica and founded in 1985 with a diverse team of staff, Board of Directors and volunteers seeking to make Southern California’s coastal waters and watersheds, including Santa Monica Bay, safe, healthy and clean.

Theodore Payne Foundation

The Theodore Payne Foundation for Wildflowers and Native Plants, founded in 1960, operates a nursery of California native plants and an education center with classes and field trips for all ages. The Foundation’s mission is to preserve, propagate and promote California native Plants and Seeds and wild flowers since they provide beauty, habitat for wildlife and water savings.

Aquarium of the Pacific

Aquarium of the Pacific is housed in Long Beach and features many interactive and informative exhibits about ocean habitats, marine life, oceanic research, and specific information about sea life in Southern California.

Citizens Climate Lobby

Citizens Climate Lobby is an advocacy ground that focuses on using policy changes to create a stable climate and to empower individuals to take action on a national level.

NOAA

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration provides important and up-to-date information on integral weather and climate related news.

USG Environmental Student Assembly

ESA is the newest assembly as a part of the Undergraduate Student Government at USC. They host Earth Month (for which ClimatePalooza is their kick-off event) with over a dozen fun events to engage students with the environment, sustainability, and knowledge about Earth.

USC Sustainability

USC Sustainability is an office on campus that focuses on increasing USC’s sustainability, reducing its footprint, and launching environmentally friendly policies and events on campus.

USC Sea Grant

USC Sea Grant is a program that focuses on issues of the “urban ocean” and advocates for how Southern California may be more responsible to its nearby water.

Tree People

Tree People is an environmental non-profit that focuses on issues of the “urban environment” through educating communities, planting trees, and demonstrating sustainability to urban environments.

Annenberg West Lobby

Eyes on the Earth

3D visualization experience that lets users “fly along” with NASA’s fleet of Earth science missions and observe climate data from a global perspective in an immersive, real-time environment.
